TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GUIDE TRIPS:

Reciprocal License Agreement
When fishing Lake Champlain, there is a reciprocal license agreement with Vermont though several areas are not covered. A New York-only license is not valid in Vermont’s Missisquoi Bay, Malletts Bay or the Inland Sea. A Vermont-only license does not permit fishing in South Bay near Whitehall, NY.

License: A fishing license is required before your trip departs to be paid for by customer.   When fishing Lake Champlain, a “reciprocal license” allows fishing in either New York or Vermont State waters except Inland Sea area.. Vermont offers a large area of productive Bass and Pike. Vermont license is the recommended option.

Personal Water Floatation : USCG and State Laws requires every person under 12 years old to wear a Coast Guard approved life jacket securely fastened and of the appropriate size while on board.  A life saving device for each person will be provided.

Fishing tackle: All necessary fishing tackle will be provided. You may bring your own, but please limit to four rods per person and one tackle bag.

Food and Drinks: Water only will be supplied by the Captain. All other personal preferences are to be supplied by customer.

Deposit and Payments:  A $100 deposit is required to hold your desired fishing date. The deposit will be applied to the total fee for the trip and balance of fee paid prior to boarding. In the event of a customer cancellation, a full deposit refund will be granted if we are notified no less than 15 days prior to scheduled fishing date. No deposit refunds after 15 days. Final payment must be in CASH.

Weather Cancellations: The Captain retains the right to cancel any charter due to unsafe weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond his control. The deposit can be applied to secure another available charter date. H2O assumes no responsibility or liability for cancellation for weather or mechanical failures. If customer cannot reschedule full refund will be granted. Customers are to provide their own foul weather gear.

Departures: All departures are from the following ramps are part of the trip: Westport, Port Henry, Plattsburgh. Any request to depart from a different ramp besides the home ramps will incur a minimum fee of $50 depending on proximity and travel time.

Cancellation: The Captain retains the right to cancel any charter due to unsafe weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond control. The deposit can be applied to secure another available charter date.

Drug Policy: There is a ZERO-TOLERANCE FOR ILLEGAL DRUG and ALCOHOL policy on board our charter vessel. Failure to comply with this policy will terminate the trip and all funds paid. Thank you for your cooperation.
